Integration

Integration - (lat. Integratio - restoration) this concertion means the state of connection of singular integrated parts and functions system or organism in the whole, and also a process leading to this state.

   One of the problems of modern school is the fact that the links among school subjeРЇts are not developed enough. Very often a student who is successful in one subjeРЇt can not apply his/her knowledge not only in the real life but even in other subjeРЇts.
   The main reason of it is in the fact that the principal attention in a comprehensive school is traditionally paid to accumulation of some icertain knowledges but nowadays it is necessary to prepare a student who can apply the knowledge in the real life situations. Our students should be able to perceive and work up the large amount of information, to take possesion of modern means, methods and techniques of working with them in any subject sphere. In this connection informative technology become not only the object of studying but also the means and working surroundings of learning.
   So integration of computing and intormative technology with other school subjects is a real necessity now Such integration is the means of extension of the school educational opportunities, the guide of innovatory ideas, means of methodical enrichment of a teacher and the rise of educational quality.
   The innovators of the integration process become teachers of computing and leaders of school intormative centers. They can clearly prove that the integration with intormative technology is opening the following opportunities for the educational process: the effective free access to varius intormation; the opportunity to use various sources of intormation; the opportunity to raise the qualification through Internet; using of the computer as the means of preparation, printing and searching of information; the oppertunity to model for taking experiments; working off certain skills and abilities; checking of the knowledge; organizing the researching work of students; increasing the studying motivation; the fascinating explanation of new material; visualization.
   Gradualli school teachers of varions subjects are taking part in this process. Certainly school teachers should be well - prepared and be able to use properly the late achievements of modern informative technology in studying, as well as the ability to involve students in creation of the new sphere of studying, and the teacher of computing is ready to help them here. As a result exciting lessons of varions kinds are being born:
- investigation lesson;
- praktical work lesson;
- test lesson;
- conferense (meeting) of creative laboratory;
- remote control lesson;
- integration lesson.
   Of course, the integration process is very complicated. There ave many subjective and objective reasons which restrain its development. But it is necessary to try moving forward. And as a result we'll have got a pupil having the use of not only computing informative technology but also the ability of applying his all - round deep knowledge on practise.
   In this aspekt within the framework of this project we suggest the work of Forum, where there is the competition of school subject teachers - "Integration lesson", where they can give their working out with using of informative technology. For students there is a competition "Help a teaРЇher".
