   Project is the way to the truth. Combining the theoretical and practical sides of the human being's activity, the project way of thinking gives everybody access to information resource of education, allows to open, develop, realize the creative potential of the personality.
   The project method allows organizing the application of the received knowledge for the decision of this on that problem. It is a research method. It presupposes independent work with the information on different storage-means. These storage-means can be printed, electronic and network means (information resources of the Internet).
   Projects are, as a rule, intersubject, because they demand use of knowledge from different school subjects. The educational project has conducive advantages:
- it makes education individual;
- pupils discuss the way of solving real-life problems;
- pupils are constantly compelled to search and analyze information, to state the ideas precisely;
- hearty use of computers as tools in work;
- combination of individual and group activity in work;
- change of the role of the teacher and the pupil during learning process.
   During the work with projects the teacher acts, first of all, as the organizer of the cognitive activity of pupils. His aim is to learn children to study independently. Instead of being passive listener, the pupil becomes the person, capable to use those information means, which are accessible to him.
   The idea of projecting is very effective: a pupil works under any topic for a certain time, has a definite aim, uses knowledge acquired in various spheres of education and at last receives the result of his work which can be looked at, printed and used.

In this aspect within the framework of this project the work of "Forum" and two Web-projects competition are offered:
The first competition "XX century - century gone, but close" - about events, people and great personalities of this century, about the heritage, countries and their relations - all this is offered to talk about.
The time of realization is from March, 15 till April, 20 2003.
